This weekend sees the first round proper of the Waddilove and Birtwhistle Cups
Ist XI entertain Guiseley on Sunday whist the 2nds’d tavel to Guiseley

Wins for 1st and 3rd XI’s
Burley 1st XI recorded there first win of the season against Adel on Saturday whilst the the 3rd XI did even better by recording wins on Sunday and Monday
Congratulations to Harry Brook who scored his first senior half century for the 3rd XI against Hall Park
This weeknd the 2nd team will be looking to pick up there first points of the season at home to Green Lane while the 1st XI travel to Follifoot
A reminder that Saturday 18:00 until 1 hour after the game ends is happy hour in the club
Season Starts This Weekend
Burley 1st XI open the new season with a home game against recent arch rivals Beckhwithshaw whilst the 2nd XI are away also against Beckwithshaw
The 3rd XI open there account with an away game at Harden on Sunday, teams selected can be found under the weekend teams tab
A reminder that this season will see the introduction of a happy hour in the club each Saturday from 18:00 pm onwards until 1 hour after the game ends, draft beers / lagers, glass of wine and bottles all £2

Car Boot Sale Sunday 15th April
The club will be holding it’s first car boot sale of the summer this Sunday
Gates open 7:30
Scorers Needed
The club urgently require senior team scorers for the coming season
A cricket tea and a generous fee wil be provided along with training where required
Anyone intreested should contact one of the junior team managers, senior players or member of the committeee
Junior Registration Night Tuesday 10th April
The club wille be open Tuesday 10th April from 6:15 onwards for registration of junior players for all age groups
Playing subscription is £30 per child and £20 for famiily membership
There will also be the opportunity to sell / buy or donate any unused junior cricket equipment
The bar will be open and food / refreshments will also be available
Junior Nets
Junior nets are now under way at St mary’s School in Menston :
Sunday Mar 4th to Sunday March 25th inclusive (4 weeks) :-
- 5pm – 6pm – Under 9s and Under 11s (Mark Hughes, Keith Revis and John Stephens)
- 6pm – 7pm – Under 13s (John Singleton and Keith Revis)
- 7pm – 8pm – Under 15s and Under 17s (Chris Peel and Martin Robinson)
